Today is the formal announcement that BlueDot Founding Partner, Moira Whelan, will be leaving to become the Director of Democracy and Technology at the National Democratic Institute (NDI). The press release can be found here.

When BlueDot Strategies was started over four years ago, the goal, first and foremost, was to leave the world a better place. By continuing her work in democracy and combining it with using technology to create a greater good, Moira is in a prime position to make a large and positive impact.

Founding Partner Lars Anderson states:

“I am so proud of the company Moira and I built together, and BlueDot will continue, as we always have, to serve our clients in the words of Carl Sagan ‘to make the world a better place’. We wish Moira the best and are so excited that she will continue on her amazing journey.”
