Emily started at BlueDot as an Intern. She has experience in public speaking, problem solving, and communications.
Most recently before joining BlueDot, Emily spent four years working in Alaska.This, and a lifelong love of the outdoors, inspired her to pursue a masters in Sustainability Management. She spent the last two years showing diverse groups of guests the beauty of Alaska as a tour director. In this position, she anticipated needs and logistical issues of guests and solved them before they happened. The previous season was spent working in HR helping with employee moral and processing international visas.
Prior to Alaska, Emily created social media campaigns as an intern for non-profits, worked in partnerships with VISIT FLORIDA, and volunteered in Special Events with American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
Emily is earning a Master’s Degree from American University’s Kogod School of Business in Sustainability Management. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Hospitality Management and Communications from Florida State University.
